At Child and Family Agency we believe in providing a safe, nurturing environment where children are free to learn, grow, and develop while preparing for success in school and life. Through our Early Childhood Development Centers in New London and Groton, CFA provides affordable, high-quality, year-round care to children ages 6 weeks – 5 years old.

High quality care and education in child centered classrooms
We provide full-day, year-round care and education licensed by the Office of Early Childhood and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
A proven approach to education
CFA utilizes the following research-informed curriculum and developmental standards in each classroom: Second Step Social Emotional Curriculum for young children, CT Early Learning Development Standards (CT ELDS), Brigance Early Childhood Screening, Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ-3), and the CT Dots Assessment Tool.
Holistic approach to early care and education
with whole family supports including Family Resource Centers, CFA Medical Clinic, Early Childhood Mental Health classroom and child specific services as well as Outpatient Mental Health Clinics.
Enrollment & Fees
Please fill out and submit the inquiry form. Once received by CFA, we will reach out to you and begin the enrollment process. Spots are open and filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Submitted inquiries will automatically be added to the early childhood and education waiting list. All families will be charged a $50.00 enrollment fee. This enrollment fee will be applied to your tuition once your child begins attending the program. Please call 860-437-4550 for more information.

Financial Support
Child & Family Agency re-assesses its tuition fees annually. Should tuition fees change; families will be given a 30 day notice before tuition increase takes effect.
[expand title=”Sliding Fee Scale“] Child care fees are set according to the CT Office of Early Childhood (OEC). CFA offers a sliding-fee scale based on a family’s size and gross annual income. Required documentation includes gross annual income in the form of the family’s most recent tax return or W-2. Four consecutive pay stubs may also be used in the event a tax return or W-2 is unavailable.[/expand]
